NL Men

Terms of Use

Last updated November 2, 2026

NL Men is a private online community for men who attend New Life Church. It's run by volunteers from the group, independently of the church: New Life Church doesn't run or sponsor it and isn't a party to these terms. These terms explain what you agree to when you join. They're written to be read, so please read them.

Who can join

  • NL Men is invite only. A current member has to share his invite link with you.
  • You must be 18 or older.
  • One account per person, under your real name, with a phone number and email you actually use.

Signing in

There are no passwords. We email you a one-time link and code, and you stay signed in on that device until you sign out. Keep your email account secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. If you lose a phone, sign out of all devices from your settings.

The directory: what you share and how you treat what others share

When you join, your name, phone number and email (and anything you add to your profile) are visible to every other member. That is the point of the group. In return, you agree to use other members' information only for fellowship within NL Men. That means you won't:

  • sell, pitch or recruit members for a business, investment, network-marketing or political cause;
  • add members to mailing lists or group chats unrelated to NL Men;
  • copy, export or share the directory with anyone outside the group.

Events

Events are planned by members. Unless an event says otherwise, it is not an official activity of New Life Church. Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of what they post and for following the rules of the place they meet.

Activities like pickleball, golf, fishing and workouts carry a risk of injury. Taking part is voluntary and at your own risk, and you are responsible for your own health, equipment, transportation and conduct.

Prayer requests

What a man shares in a prayer request, he shares in trust. Pray for it, and keep it within the group: don't repeat it, screenshot it or share it outside NL Men. Admins may remove a request that doesn't belong. The site is not a crisis service; if someone is in danger, call 911 or 988.

The weekly pairing

If you opt in, you'll be paired each week with another member and given his phone number and email. Pairing is optional, and you can pause it at any time in settings or from any pairing email.

Emails

We send sign-in emails when you ask for them, plus event and pairing emails you can turn off at any time. We don't send text messages; the call and text buttons open your own phone's apps.

Be the kind of man you'd want to meet

Treat others with respect. No harassment, threats, crude or explicit content, or anything you wouldn't say in front of the whole group. Admins may edit or remove events and may remove a member's access when needed to protect the group.

Leaving

You can delete your account at any time from your settings. That removes your profile and contact details from the directory right away. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

The fine print

NL Men is provided free of charge, as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, the volunteers who run NL Men aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for anything that happens between members on or off the site. New Life Churchisn't responsible for NL Men, its events or anything members post. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll ask you to review and accept it the next time you sign in.
